Matt Lorito
Facility Director
Matt is a former Division I and professional hockey player. He played four years at Brown University, where he earned a degree in Economics, before going on to play eight years of professional hockey across the NHL, AHL, KHL, SHL, and DEL.
Matt’s journey through hockey is a testament to his resilience, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to growth. His career was built on overcoming challenges, staying disciplined through adversity, and consistently finding ways to improve and compete at the highest level.
As a former professional athlete, Matt understands what it takes to perform and succeed under pressure. He is passionate about inspiring others to achieve their goals, push beyond limitations, and live healthier, more confident lives.

Luke Robinson
Head of Movement
Dr. Luke Robinson is a strength and conditioning specialist, researcher, and performance practitioner with expertise in elite sport performance and movement development. He currently serves as Head of Movement at Matterhorn Fit in Stamford, CT, where he leads performance training and movement strategies for athletes and active populations.
Luke completed a PhD focused on strength and conditioning in female golf and has established an international research profile within elite sport science. He has authored seven peer-reviewed publications covering athlete performance, physical profiling, training interventions, and applied strength and conditioning, with work published in leading journals including the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.In addition to his research,
Luke is a published NSCA book chapter author and has presented work contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practice in high-performance sport. His background combines applied coaching with scientific research, enabling him to translate complex performance science into practical outcomes for athletes and teams. His work focuses on optimizing movement, physical preparation, and long-term athletic performance across elite and developing populations.

Grace Harkness
Rehab Specialist
Grace Harkness, MS, LAT, ATC, CES, is a Certified Athletic Trainer with experience spanning professional sports, collegiate athletics, orthopedic rehabilitation, and performance-based recovery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from West Virginia University and her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University.
Most recently, Grace worked in a clinical setting focused on regenerative medicine, rehabilitation planning, patient care coordination, and performance-driven recovery strategies. Prior to that, she completed a highly competitive post-professional athletic training residency, where she worked closely alongside orthopedic surgeons in both clinical and surgical environments.
Throughout her career, Grace has worked with elite athletes across multiple levels of competition, including serving as Assistant Athletic Trainer for Lamar University Men’s Basketball and supporting Baylor Football and Women’s Golf. In 2017, she made history as the first female athletic training personnel to work with the Indianapolis Colts during her summer internship with the organization.
Grace’s background combines sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, corrective exercise, and performance optimization. She is passionate about helping clients move better, recover smarter, and build long-term strength and resilience both in and out of sport.

Bastien Lardiere
Movement Specialist
Bastien is from Grenoble, France, a beautiful town in the heart of the Alps. Growing up, he played hockey and eventually turned professional at the age of 19. He spent 12 years playing professional hockey, primarily in the Magnus League and Division 1 in France, and finished his career by winning a championship with Villard-de-Lans.
Throughout his career, he developed a strong passion for strength and conditioning. While still playing professionally, he began pursuing his education in the field, earning a Bachelor’s degree before continuing on to complete a Master’s degree.
He also had the opportunity to work with the professional performance staff at FCG Rugby Club in Grenoble, where he collaborated with high-level athletes in a demanding professional environment. He completed a six-month internship at Quinnipiac University, supporting the performance programs for ice hockey, basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams as part of completing his Master’s degree.
Bastien is incredibly excited to join Matterhorn Fit. His philosophy is to treat every person like they are the best athlete in the world. He truly believes everyone has the ability to improve, and is committed to helping people reach their goals and perform at their highest level.
